I have a Yamaha AV receiver bookshelf and centre speaker. I needed something to improve the bass frequencies, without being over powering. This does the job.

This sub really compliments my desktop speakers and fills the room with a present but not dominant bass. Its only a small so it's not going to compete with the sound of larger subs, but it suits what I was after perfectly
