Having previously owned a compact binoculars we wanted a more practical larger binocular and chose the Olympus DPS. The 8-16x40 zoom is ideal for wildlife watching and not too heavy or tiring to hold. Very pleased.

Bought these thinking it would be a good compromise between small 25mm zoom and large 50mm fixed mag binoculars. Turns out to be bigger than I expected and the zoom doesn't offer much better "seeing" power.
