Great but pricy

Fast, reliable, very little maintenance, takes up very little room

Occasionally documents get stuck and crumpled if not set very carefully in the feeder. Also expensive

Fast. Good quality scans (best quality is with some brightness and contrast tweaking.) Extensive software control with an incredible array of options

Brightness and contrast settings in TWAIN driver do not carry over to the ScanSnap software. The standard included software might be too complex for a home user or someone that just wants to click and scan

Excellent

The scanner is small and compact in size yet performs like a commercial grade scanner. I couldn't believe how fast it was. (duplex scanned 20 sheets of paper with double sided information in 30 seconds.)

the fujitsu 6130z duplex sheet fed document scanner is small and fits easily in the counter space we have. It scans quite quickly. It does occasionally "eat" or "tweak" the pages if not lined up properly. the price is not as affordable as the epson...

The produce arrived when expected, was easy to install, and has performed flawlessly since then. The instructions were easy to understand, the images come out as expected and the machine is super fast.

A beast!

We purchased this for a massive amout of document archival. It was easy to install, easy to use, and is still going strong. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a workhorse without the cost of a networkable scanner.

Changed the way we do business for good!

I've been using a Cannon MFC8350cdn for scanning for years. It's an impressive looking laser printer. It doesn't have automatic duplex, but that's OK since software can accomplish duplexing. Still -- with this printer, I had to manually flip and reload...

I use this with my Mac. I had to get additional software called fscanx . . . works great. I bought 5 for the office and they do better than our $7500 scanner.

Engineered with one of the most advanced paper separation features in their class, the fi-6130 is the first workgroup scanner equipped with reversing roller technology (statement true as of March 2008), resulting in exceptional feeding reliability for an even wider variety of document weights. Furthermore, the automatic document feeder (ADF), capable of scanning documents up to 10 feet long, is also robust enough to feed up to three hard cards continuously or an embossed card up to 1.4 mm in thickness. Additionally, the fi-6130 harmoniously combines the security of Ultrasonic Double Feed Detection with the efficiency of Intelligent MultiFeed Function (iMFF) so that intentional double-feeds, such as a taped receipt or sticky note, can be manually bypassed while double-feed detection is enabled.
