When you follow the directions on how to conn...

1. Unit allows you to use your iMac as a display for HDMI outputted devices. Works great...when it works! 2. No lag when using the device with a game console

1. Unit failed after 2 days. 2. The process to connect your HDMI device with your iMac is annoying. 3. No phone number to directly reach Kanex tech support. 4. Some images/text aren't as clear - displays more pixels compared with stand alone TV

Can't add much more than what's already been said by CNET. IMO 720p Blu Ray looks good on iMac 27" screen so I wouldn't call it "crummy". I like toys so $150 wasn't a deal breaker (the HDMI and Mini Display Cable are probably worth about $30). I found tha...
