Works Just Fine

 

What do you expect for $20? I figure if you get a year out of it, then it only cost you a little over a nickle a day.

20 on sale, with free shipping. Arrived with no damage. Plugged it in and it's been working for about 2 months now

None really. Not "heavy duty", have owned better ones

Great toaster oven

 

This is an awesome little toaster oven. I bought it for my new apartment and could not be happier. I toast bread, sandwiches, small pizzas, and have baked 4 sweet potatoes at once. Saves the power of running the full sized oven.

Compact, reasonably large capacity. Cooks consistently, many cooking options to choose from

Truly disappointed by service

 

The product arrived severely dented. I have emailed customer service 3 times but received no response.

Works Great!

 

Excellent for heating up snacks w/o having to heat up the whole kitchen.

Nice compact design, drip tray doubles as a cooking tray and the timer can be set to stay "on" or countdown and shut off

None, Ive use this daily for over three months and its working like a champ

underhanded selling -

 

they plan to fix this.. by.... changing the box..

large size- the analog controls . though older in design and cheaper .. may be better . small hot electric ovens my cause electronic shorts and failures

Manual and box show and describe a desirable feature . Both for safety and convenience . That is the rack can be hooked to the door so that a hot plate and food can be removed with the rack sliding out and stationary.a good feature to prevent the rack...

Not sure why the previous reviewer had such a hard time with the timer. It even has pictures of a darker piece of toast and a lighter piece of toast, which to me are pretty obvious as to what they means. I've always found that using a toaster oven is a...

Well built, good temperature control, comes with one small pan, has adjustable shelf. Temp settings are like a regular oven

Getting started

 

If you don't plan to mount this under a cabinet, and just put it on your countertop, you will not experience the issues above. But if you plan to mount it under a cabinet, hopefully you don't have a dropped front cabinet edge and a thick cabinet base...

Nice looking unit, but durability on par with the old ones? Time will tell

If you are replacing an older Black and Decker under the counter model, know this: The newer unit introduces a new hole pattern, so you get to drill four more holes in your cabinet bottom. A template is included, but you will probably have to trim it...

Just don't try to replace an older one.

 

Next time, design a mounting plate that matches up to the old screw hole pattern, and give me screws long enough to reach the capture nuts in the mounting plate. And P.S., I could have used the older, longer screws from the old mounting plate, but you...

Not too many, so far. But at least their incompatible under the cabinet mounting plate is included with this model, but read on

Installation under cabinet, which should be easy, is engineered to be as difficult as possible. This unit was purchased to replace a 200-TY5 that Black and Decker also built. I paid a lot of money for that under-counter bracket to get the toaster oven...
