The last vacuum cleaner I had was a "monster" I had inherited from my mother in law. It was loud, messy and didn't do the trick.

I purchased this vacuum after replacing 2 others within a year. The store I went to had a device that measured suction power on a vacuum. After trying about 7 other vacuums the Bissell Lift Off Upright & Detachable Canister Vacuum had the best suction....

The Bissell Lift-Off Upright & Detachable Canister Vacuum 3554 was priced right at Costco, around $135. That's the main reason I purchased it. I needed one in a hurry and on a budget.

I originally saw this vacuum cleaner on an infomercial and was impressed with its versatility. It's like a canister and an upright in one.
