This machine does an excellent job using the hand upholstery tool on carpets or any other surface like car seats. The large fihstail carpet tool is less easy to use and leaves carpets much wetter.

Very robust carpet cleaner but too industrial for easy home use. Heavy, hard to clean. Dirty water collected in main body of machine, so not easy to get rid of. Dries carpets well though.
