A bit heavier than my old vac and the cord is not as long but apart from that it is a great buy, really powerful and easy to use.

Have not yet used it for pet hair but light weight and easy to use. Just the job for an average sized semi but do need to unplug to get upstairs as the lead is quite short. I much prefer it to an upright Dyson which i find heavy and hard to manoevre....
