Superior Frame

 

I will recommend this frame to all my relatives and friends. Five Star!!!

This is the second frame I bought and I gave it as birthday gift for my grandma, she loves this very much. Easy to download the pictures and music, the resolution is excellent, it shows the pictures clear on the screen

Don't buy this one

 

What a shame, this thing looked so good but it turned out like so much junk. I took it apart and sure enough the tube was gone, all black on the ends. It would be great if you could replace it but it's a huge loop that goes around the whole screen -...

The screen is big and the price was right. When it worked it was OK for displaying images using a memory card

Where to start. The USB function never worked. The frame was scratched. The "full screen" function worked like junk. The cathode fluorescent bulb died. Yep, the backlight flickered and died

Shouldn't have bought this

 

The on-board 1 GB not being able to use does suck, but SD cards are very cheap these days. However, with the video not supporting basically anything but certain (not all) .avi formats, this is a product that you definitely want to avoid.

The Screen looks fairly descent and from the front side, the wood frame does make it look nice

There are no SOURCE select buttons on the unit, if you loose the remote your stuck with only looking at pictures. I could not get the on-board 1GB memory to work, all it says when you turn on the machine is INSERT CARD. The USB cable it came with...

Don't Buy! Why does NewEgg even carry this?

 

I'm surprised that NewEgg carries something with such low quality. I usually shop here because their gear is at least better than the bargain basement stuff you can find here and there on the web. This is a sore exception to that rule.

Large Screen....but the resolution is poor

Crashes all the time. Can't actually read all the Jpeg formats. Doesn't have the resolution it claims. Gives USB and "not enough space" errors constantly. This thing is awful

Revising my review: don't buy this...

 

The attraction of this device was the large memory and the large screen size. The screen is poor and the image quality is weak. Compared to a smaller Philips digital frame this one is quite inferior. Great feature set, if the features actually worked,...

Lots of memory, video feature broken.

 

I got this for pics, the 1GB memory and the large screen. In those areas it works well.

Manual says WMV suported: it's not
