Affordable; attractive design; decent image quality; support for video and MP3 playback; 512MB of built-in memory; accepts all popular memory card formats and USB connections; built-in clock with calendar and alarm.

Could be more user-friendly; frame attracts fingerprints; screen is too reflective; no bundled remote.

Viewsonic's 8-inch DPG807 has a lot of positives, including decent image quality, an attractive design, and a couple of nice extras--but some quirks hold it back from a higher rating.

Nice, but Quality a Concern

Getting the bad unit replaced. Like the good unit and hope the switch failure is a one-time thing.

Received two. The one that worked has an excellent picture -- much better than a unit I already had

One unit had a bad on/off switch right out of the box -- unit would not switch on at all. I hope this is not a common problem, but it raises concerns about the quality of the switch. The switch on the good unit feels a bit flimsy as well, but that may...

For the low price paid, I wasn't really expecting much, but these are VERY nice.
