Works like a charm as a Blu Ray player drive... assuming you have software to read the Blue rays... whole different story. Long story short on that front I ended up buying a Cyberlink software package which grant is amazing and even makes my regular...

Was easy to install and works great. Updated my rig from a standard DVD Burner to this Bluray.

as covered in previous reviews , there is no software for burning blue rays disk, some of the blue rays disks did not play correctly in one of two players tried but played back correctly on the computer with the Asus drive

Works great no prob fast setup blu ray software to burn disk was easy to learn burns fast and doesn't slow down half way or slow start burns had it for 1 week now and burn over 25 disk

After install, had no problem playing CDs and DVDs or burning DVDs (have not tried burning BRs yet). Had to buy software to play BRs ($36). Plays BRs no problem.

Can't comment about the Blue-Ray side (have no software to play the disc and no blank to write to. I have made several CD's and DVD's with no problem. Nice and quiet. I always have good luck with ASUS brand.

Replaced an LG with the ASUS and all my headackes went into the trash can. The ASUS works even better than I expected.

Not used it for anything except to install some software, but it works can't complain about that :)

very quick delivery on this product. No problems with installtion, and it works like it should
