Not bad but could be better

 

We picked up the D1705 for a 12 hour trip with two toddlers last year. We wanted something they would both be able to see and hear easily in the second row of minivan seats. The D1705 was an affordable purchase. However, there were a couple of issue ...

Remote control for easy access if you're in the car. A good buy for price.

Easily scratched. Appears to break easily. Very expensive to get fixed by Audiovox.

GREAT PLAYER !!!!!!!

 

Great buy. Low to NO sound from disc spinng, easy to use, good picture

Haven't found any yet, someone wrote about the scan feature, so that could be one.

Solid construction, Attractive appearance. Nice picture, Attractive remote. 3 hour battery life.

Does not Play DTS soundtrack (contrary to manual). Bulky battery.No battery strength meter.
