While the hand held controller was easy to use, the on screen options were a tad bit hard to get use to. But once you got using it, it became easy. This DVD recorder showed some promise of being one of the best picture quality recorders. But it fell ...

Good choice for budget minded

 

The #1 complaint I have seen about this unit is that it will only record on 1x-4x disks, so know that before you go out and buy a stack of 100 8x disks and wonder what the *@#! you’re doing wrong. I bought an Emerson EWR10D4 and a Lite-On LVW 5005 ...

Cheap, instant record, great picture/sound (1hr.-4hr.), extra audio out for sound system.

Can only record 1x-4x disks, 6 to 10 hr. settings are poor, noisy fan.
