Obviously not built with Karaoke in mind

 

I picked this up thinking that I was getting a great deal on a combo DVD / Karaoke player, to find out when I got home that the GE1101P does NOT play CD+G disc which just about the entire western world uses as a format for karaoke players.

No good reviews on MP3 compatability with DVD players

 

My first DVD player, and was motivated by Compatibility to play photo CDs and MP3's. Photo CD viewer not compatible with my photo cds, and there is no ff/rew Compatibility during mp3 play. Also, only 38 mp3 tracks were detected from 130 tracks on my...

Cheap. Plays DVDs. Plays Audio CDs.

no ff/rew during mp3 playback. Doesn't detect 100% of MP3 files.

brings good things to life

 

This is my first DVD player.I did not want to spend a bunch of money on my first player so i went with this model for under $100.00.I was surprised with the features for the money.Jog dial on the deck for this money was hard to believe.

My DVD, simple as can be!!

 

I had purchased my DVD 6 months ago. To be honest, I was really technologically ignorant as far as a DVD player was concerned. I had know idea which brand was good or which brand was not so good. All I knew is that I wanted a DVD player....

Easy to use for DVD beginners, nice picture, great sound and small price.

None for me.

My brothers and I purchased this DVD player for my parents for Christmas. We chose this particular model because it plays DVD's, CD's, MP3's, and CDR's.
