Horrendous

 

Do NOT buy.

Plays DVDs for about the first ten uses.

Does not play anything after about the first ten uses. Plays occasionally after punching and throwing against the wall. Otherwise, don't count on it.

Junk

 

Doesn't play 90% of DVD's. Product failed after 6 months. Customer service is a joke.

A pile of junk. Don't waste your money on this.

If you get this machine, be sure to get the warranty, too. I don't usually recommend buying extended warranties, but make an exception in this case. I had read several GPX reviews that said the machines break down after a few weeks to a few months, but...

Price, and has internal volume control independent of TV set.

Only lasted 3 months

 

This was $20 when I bought it. It was good while it lasted, which was all of 3 months (as soon as the warranty ran out). I wouldnt recommend this product to anyone, its not worth the money. Better to pay a little more for a longer lasting DVD player.

I bought this as a cheap option to playing my non NTSC DVDs. My family mostly watches PAL format DVDs and this became the primary DVD player in our house, though we still used a different one for all our American DVDs. The player worked like a charm at...
