Terrible

 

A pile of junk. After this, I will not go near another Philips brand of anything. It has been a very frustrating and disappointing exercise and am looking to replace with HDD/DVD recorder.

Looks nice!

Initial unit faulty and replaced. Then the remote control packed up outside warranty. No duplicate controls on dvd part of unit so could not play dvds if selection was needed. Could not change settings without remote or timer record. DVDs froze mid movie.

Bad

 

Not bad while it lasted and phillips warantee swapped it. But went for another brand.

Slim and looked good.

Stopped working after 9 months. Problems started with the unit freezing up and could not operate unless you turned the main power source off after 1 month. Remote a bit hard to navigate.
