when you switch the dvd player on to standby the clock does not display. due to some power saving device,

Toshiba RD-99DT

 

Very easy to install 2nd toshiba DVD recorder. Tried other makes but so hard to set up and use. Would highly recommend. USB port fab.

A little more expensive that 1st model but highter spec. Wish it had been avaible in lesser memory as not needed that way price might of been reduced.

The recorder is very easy to use, recording programmes is so easy whether it is a programme for today or one next week. Very simple to operate even I can do it!

The only thing is if you miss the start of a programme you just have to press record but need to remember to stop the recording or it will just keep taping.

Noisy and faulty

 

Beware, this machine has a really noise fan and as we had the machine in the bedroom kept us awake at night. Not only that but machine was faulty as the fan kept going on and off during standy so had to return. Bought Panasonic instead and even though...

Toshiba RD99DT 250GB HDD DVD Freeview+ Recorder.

 

I found it a little tricky to use at first, but I am more used to it now, it has more features than the one it replaces, but on LP its not as good a picture quality, not so bad on SP though. the Hard Drive bit works well

excellent picture quality, easy to use timer function,

it knocks your picture off if you are watching say sky while it records on timer.
