Update: Apparently this was only a temporary fix. I tried watching a DVD last night and it started acting up again. I figured the only difference from earlier in the day was that I had been running it with out the cover on. So I pulled the cover off...

STAY AWAY!

 

If you do a little research online, you will find that this product line suffers from serious problems. My player, along with many others, skips horribly. It is often at the end of movies that it will do this which is HIGHLY ANNOYING. I can't tell...

It would be a nice unit if it worked.

Same problem as the rest

 

I just wanted to pipe in and say that I have had the exact same problems that I have seen in about 10% of the reviews on this site -- Put a DVD in and the player does not recognize it. Put the same disc in a cheap DVD player (my son's) and it works...

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

 

My brother bought this unit for his house. He was so pleased with it that I bought one for myself. His went out on Christmas Eve. Mine went out last week.

Great picture and sound
