Review: Gyration Air Music Remote Control

 

Gyration's Air Music remote makes operating Media Center easy, which is just music to our ‘airs.'

In all, the Gyration Air Remote is a great deal for all of its features, and it can add immense value to the Media Center experience at a fairly low cost.

First trial

 

I was looking for a remote to control a HTPC and TV. I was sick of running the hot PS3 as a blu-ray player so I'm in the process of building a Atom Ion HTPC. Called Logitech and the cheapest remote that'll suit my needs without a IR panal on the HTPC...

Learning remote ; Media center controller ; Air mouse ; Great alternative to Logitech Harmony remotes ; Options to control TV, PC, Cable box, home audio center

No Bluetooth (but no need for me anymore) ; PC Power button doesn't wake up the PC from sleep mode (maybe a setting to change it?)

Correction on my review

 

To everyone having problems "learning" the remote....the sensor is at the bottom! I was using the front of the remote and never having any success....but they sent me a manual and it shows it pointing at the bottom! I feel dumb. Great...

Still cannot get volume punch through to completely configure
