TomTom VIA 1435TM 4.3" Voice-Controlled GPS with Lifetime Maps, Traffic Alerts and Dash Mount

I don't have any other GPS to compare this to but it really helped me get around all the road closures in NJ after Sandy. The voice command isn't perfect and the touch screen doesn't always register my touches. Other than that, good buy at sale price...

I brought this as a Christmas gift. I don't know now with reading the reviews if I selected the best product. I guess we will see after Christmas. I can say this much if it does not work properly, I will be sending back, ASAP.

Great service and a wondderful product

after reading the reviews I am a little worried about this purchase. I have not tried it out yet, it is a Christmas present, I bought this on the fact that you could just use your voice to use it. We will see after Christmas whether it is a keeper or not

I purchased this as Christmas gift for my son and his family. They have a vacation planned for out of state and I thought it would be useful. Now I'm thinking he should try it out now in case it has problems so I have a chance to exchange it before...

So the tab on the back of it was broke and after 3 uses the thing froze up and could not use it again. Returned. I was very very disappointed.

WHAT FUN...TO LEARN HOW TO USE IT

I have had this unit on for 2 hours, and it is still searching for a signal. This the forth TomTom I have purchased from HSN, and I have never experienced this before. This unit is being returned.

I like the features of this GPS however I do not like the attachment that goes with it. I would rather have a clip that you can remove from the device. I have two other GPS units and I like them better.
