For the price, these speakers sound really good. Nice sound from the small speakers and the bass isn't too bad (for the office)

I have had these speakers for 1 week and one of them already died. So that is not good ; The only other issue is you can't control the sub volume (make it higher at lower volumes)

Pricepoint is the best feature of this brand

The sound quality is very horrible. You need to spend more money to have a quality sound system. I dont think mine is a dud, and it sounds as if I am listening to something behind a wall

Surprisingly powerful for a system of this price. Placing the sub on the floor produces the best bass response, as with any subwoofer. Smooth midrange, and clear highs

The connection from the satellite speakers to the subwoofer went bad after three or four years of kicking it around on the floor. Also, the volume control got dirty and causes a "shuffling" sound when you adjust it, though it does not affect playback...

As I do with every speaker I get, I turn them up to full blast, and make sure the simple sound utility that comes with window has the volume at full blast. Very, very loud. The sound is also very clear

No equalizers on it, but with the sound quality I'm getting from these, it's hardly an issue

Good tone, placing the sub on the floor (carpeting) gave the best bass results. I previously owned Altec AVS300 and liked the bass volume control, but never adjusted it anyway, used software controls

No bass control but as stated, but I never used hardware volume, just software bass adjustments. No on/off switch on speakers. Just as well, kept the previous speakers on all the time eventually

I needed cheap speakers and wouldn't buy any without a sub so I picked these up. The sound is exceptional for $xx speakers

The volume dial was engineered by someone who spend too much time in design school and not enough time training in ergonomics. A true pain to adjust volume on the sattelites. Also, as many have mentioned before - no indepedent bass / treble controls /...
