Altec Lansing's BXR1120 is a fairly standard PC speaker set. Its audio could use a little work, but it will satisfy many users.

Good detail, nice mid-range

Bought this for the Rosewill name, have had good performance from their products in the past , and it looks as though this one will be on that list

Not so great.

 

If you just plan on using these speakers for head phones then great, it makes the sound in the head phones much louder then the audio card would allow. But who buys speakers just for head phones?

Suprisingly good sound

 

I bought these for my wife's PC. They sound pretty good for the price and size. She likes the Aux input on the front of the speaker for her mp3 player.

Reliable, good and inexpensive speakers

 

If you are looking for an inexpensive set with better bass try Altec 2.1

They have been working for 6 months or so - no problems so far. OK for general use or for a kids' computer ; clear sound without statics ; reliable ; look nice ; low price ; Altec Lansing

Cheap but does not last long

The speaker die on me after 2 months. one side die on me on the first 1 and half and follow by the other one in 2 weeks

Great 2.0 set for the price

 

4 Stars because it functions VERY well as a cheap speaker set. Does not go "above and beyond" in any function, so no 5 stars. Very good performance for the price, so more than 3 stars.

Clear, crisp sound ; Good for casual music listening and for some games ; Front headphone jack on the speak is handy ; No static, good shielding

No bass support whatsoever ; Can be a bit "tinny" if the sound encoding is not perfect quality
