The old PC experience.

 

If you don't care about sound quality, and don't want audio hitting you in the face, this is ideal. It has a regular, old fashioned volume dial, so you don't need to push buttons up and down as with "digital controls." I don't have the PC anymore, and...

This brings back the old PC experience of a tower with sound coming out of it. It's nice to have a front-side headphone jack that's high up and not behind some little door.

Not as bad as I expected

 

I was worried that this thing would just be un functional but am happy with my purchase over all. If you are looking for something that takes up zero desk space and lets you watch a 2min youtube video without having to put on a headset then this is for...

Functional, Minimal distortion at loud volumes. Perfect for what I wanted it for.. Surfing the net playing casual games.

Sounds is junk as far as audiophiles would be concerned but that's what my turtle beach headset is for.

A lovely pair of case speakers

 

I have my computer on my desk beside me so these speakers would be good for lan parties or general use but I don't think if you had a living room arcade you would want these as they may not be loud enough to hear a game from across the room depending...

Other reviews found that these speakers weren't loud enough, I have found that these speakers are plenty loud. I've listened to music, skyped, and watched Youtube videos on these speakers. The sound was crisp and clear. I played Batman Arkham City with...

Diaphrams in the speakers crackle when playing low quality music loudly. ie: poorly decoded mp3s with lots of static. Either cheap diaphrams or a cheap input cord which you can replace. I will check that possibility later but still not a bad product...

Good form factor, terrible sound

 

It's always nice to have a way to give a PC sound without plugging in speakers, so this way you have no cords coming out of a computer, and no external speakers to get tangled up, or need to plug them in. It's a good form factor for a speaker product.

The speakers sound abysmal, and are too quiet. They are probably adequate for alert sounds or text-to-speech, but not for much else. Forget music and videos, you'll need headphones or real speakers for those.
