It's powered by a USB port, you pick up a ton of feedback noise, and the wires are ultra thin

For the price these are great! Look at the price 2.99.... come on! these have been great and i have used them for over a year

none ....dont buy if you want the sound of bose.. Read the Pros only on this product

Super Lame....

 

You get what you pay for =).

Cheap. Powered by USB

Sound cheap and pick up tons of interference from everything. They must not have ANY shielding

Great for the price!

 

Pros definitely outweigh the cons. I had to get a hub for the USB, but then again, I've six USB devices attached to my computer (more than most, definitely). Would definitely expect to pay more for these, I just wish they were sturdier plastic. Loses...

Nice sound. Good volume. Good range (Lows, highs, midrange come in great). They are definitely louder than laptop speakers - I've never heard a laptop that can get this loud. There's a volume adjust, I suggest turning it all the way up if it's not loud...

Connector wire is short. Sure, it'll be fine for a laptop or typical computer setup, but not for my dual monitor setup, where I had my other speakers on the outsides (now I've grouped them in the middle, and it's fine). Plastic feels a bit 'Meh'....

Should work for a while

 

I kept these alive for a few months by cutting the cord and re-soldering it to the amp board. They seem to have died of other causes lately. Owning these tought me that I do want USB powered speakers but I will aim a bit higher next time and expect to...

Cheap, sounds fair actually impressive for the price. But you do get what you pay for. Just enough louder then my laptop speakers to be worth using. JUST

Cords are very thin. When you lock the speakers together for transport the thin cord gets pinched between the speakers and will eventually fail
