These Energy speakers produce distorded sound. It's so bad that I threw them out

Price $99 (would easily pay $299) ; Sound Quality - great clear range, good bass for the woofer size ; Good connectors ; Fills the room or building with sound when turned up ; Everything about these is great

Would be better if the base were a bit heavier to prevent tipping a bit more but great nonetheless

These speakers soung great at average listening levels, not so much if you turn them up

All clairity disappears as volume is applied

fantastic sounding floor speaker - gives you a good amount of sound, small footprint on bass/low end...great clarity for mids and highs...sounds much better than more expensive speakers i have...bought these for my garage - was just looking to break...

These are great speakers for under $100 a pair. They are often compared to Polk monitor 50 series speakers and I think they sound very comparable, but at a lower price

As mentioned, these are rebadged Jamo 426 model. Not really a con, but that should be pointed out. 6ohm, which some people don't care for

1 - Excellent transient response ; 2 - Very good dynamic range ; 3 - Very good sound stage ; 4 - No harshness until power handling limit is reached

No cons but I need this space for an opinion ; If I didn't already have the Polk 50's and was going to spend $200, I would buy the Energy EF-500's over the Polks 50's. The reason is that this is a speaker that never gets LOUD or fatiguing. The music...

Hi ; I'm going to purchase 2 Energy EF-500 Tower Speaker Pair and Pioneer VSX-821-K 5.1-Channel 3D Ready A/V Receiver ; Is the speaker wire included ; Do I need to buy a center or sub as well ; Please advice

great crisp sound, booming bass if you turn up the bass settings, attractive, and don't require a ton of power to run ; I appreciate the ability to turn the sub off at night and be able to listen to full sound without waking the neighbors

If you turn up the bass they can put out to much bass and not blend well with your sub woofer. They aren't small so it may be hard to integrate into a corner unit(measure first)
