I have a 400USD Klipsch 5.1 system that I cannot use because the amp went out in the subwoofer and Klipsch gave me a bunch of crappola about replacing it while it was in warranty. I.p., I was expected to pay the shipping for the 25# brick that *they*...

The name because Klipsch makes some of the best ( and most expensive ) speaker systems on planet Earth.

Newegg has slipped: At K' website, these cost is half what NE wants but even at that price might be overpriced.

I have owned all sorts of klipsch for years, and have had nothing but trouble. This goes out as a warning not to buy any of their product. I realize these are just desktop speakers, but their amps are famous for failing. Do not buy Klipsch

Good bass for small speakers

 

I bought these from another place because they were 70usd there.

Thundering bass for small DT speakers. If you want to listen to metal or rap on small desktop speakers, these would be the ones. If you want to adjust the factory level set bass, push in the volume knob and hold until the LED starts blinking, then tune...

Bass can overpower the mids and highs. I compensated with my software EQ. I turned the factory set bass level down as above then adjusted all the low levels channels to min. I then moved the volume up on the speakers until the mids and highs sounded...

Don't be fooled

 

I ordered this set of speakers because I was under the impression that they were the successor to the ProMedia Ultra 2.0 speaker set. These speakers have nowhere near the sound quality of the ProMedia Ultra 2.0's and I am very displeased with my...

Right speaker has an aux input for your ipod or other device as well as a headphone jack. You can input thru the aux port and the computer port at the same time. Speakers have good spacial acoustics and work well for movies and symphonic pieces

Sounds nowhere near as good as the ProMedia Ultra 2.0s. As the other reviewer stated, the midrange is not well toned. This is very noticeable on acoustic pieces (such as "Free Falling" by Tom Petty). Its so bad that it makes it sound like his guitar is...

Excellent speakers worth the price

 

It would be greater if they could make the signal wires (line in and to left speaker) a little longer for more flexibility in arrangement. It will deserve 5 star if sold at 60 bucks.

1. Small size for limited space and travel ; 2. Excellent wire design, short signal wire to reduce damp; thick electricity wire to reduce noise ; 3. Very nice bass, in small size, better compare with those level 2.1 speakers
