Sound quality.

The heavy speakers have no handholds to assist in lifting when trying to manoeuvre into position. With the spikes in place, they cannot be slid without damaging a carpet or wooden floor.

Nice clear smooth sound with tight bass,still running speakers in for the first 24 hours (only had 4-5 hours run in so far)so the sound should improve even more. I have them bi -amped on my Yamaha RXV 667 receiver. They can be sand filled (optional).

Heavy in weight but to be expected due to size of speakers.

Awesome bit of kit. So loud. So sweet. Weigh a tonne.

My only tiny gripe is that the bass ports are at the back so you have to make sure the speakers are set away from the walls - i.e. I need a bigger house.

Rear ports mean the speakers work best pulled away from the wall. Not a problem in a big room, but compromising in an average front room. They are good near the wall with (supplied) foam bungs in the ports, but fabulous away from the walls where they...
