Spatially, it's a tease. But sonically, it fails to please.

Overall, the T3 is best on a tabletop - just remember to turn off the iTunes Sound Enhancer or the T3 will sound very brittle and nasty. Yet the impression is that this is a device that should be given away at trade shows, as proof of concept, rather...

Orbitsound T3

 

Around five weeks ago (05-09-08) I told you about the Orbitsound T12, here it is its baby sibling designed for portable use and it is not much larger than a good sized iPod or MP3 player itself.

The is 10x6x2cm black in colour with silvered sides is weights around 115grams. 8 watts may not sound a huge amount of power but it is designed for personal or small group use. It works just as well with an MP3 player as it does with an iPod. Going...

Orbitsound T3 review

 

This wearable speaker system has the potential to make you the most annoying person on the bus. But we think this small set of speakers has a lot more to it than public disorder, read our review of the Orbitsound T3.

Compact and lightweight, good sound quality, 10-hour battery

Bass output could be improved, sound quality starts to break up at high volumes

Despite its limitations, the T3’s sound quality is better than we expected from such a small speaker. If you want a set of speakers that you can just slip into your pocket – or wear around your neck – then the T3 is hard to beat.
