Polk Audio New Monitor 45B

 

Great deal at $149, I would definitely recommend them.

Big Clear sound Loud Haven't noticed any distortion Great price Newegg delivered quickly They work great as surrounds but are probably about as good as my tower speakers these things are awesome.

Definitely need space for them so while I'm using them as rear speakers I could definitely see them being too big for a lot of people's spaces.

Loud, Clear, High Quality

 

They are big but if you wall mount them, using an aftermarket kit, their footprint can be moved off your desk.

Impressive and Inspiring

 

I don't consider myself an audiophile but I'm definitely learning and being able to tell some major differences between certain hardware and file types. Hoping someday to own a pair of really nice speakers, I saw these on sale and for the price I...

Great Looking ; Produces good clean accurate sound for the price ; Have them placed on speaker stands which look great ; I'm am very impressed with these speakers

Great Looking! Produces good clean accurate sound for the price! Have them placed on speaker stands which look great! I'm am very impressed with these speakers.

Bought 4 of these for surround sound speakers, cannot afford my main speakers yet so I use these until then. I have to say, I am not sure I will need two big front speakers...these things really put out some good sound. Crisp, clear and loud. what more...

Worth the money I paid

 

I use these as rears in a 5.1 that includes Monitor 60 II, a CS 11 center, 10" sub and a Pioneer vsx 1122. I paid under 100 and don't think I'd be as pleased with them if they were my mains or if I had paid full price

Once broken in they sound very full; fairly attractive in a generic kind of way; solid and heavy; Best used in a smaller enclosure, with a sub and or as a satellite (which is what I've done)

The MDF and the faux wood covering appear to be rather cheap; they are bigger in reality than they appear in the picture (be sure to measure your space); As a wall mounted satellite thy will require a heavy duty mounting bracket.

Purchased these to replace my 10 year old floor standing Advent speakers. They are my L & R front speakers in my 7.1 surround setup. Also have Polk subwoofer in the mix. very satisfied with the sound from movies and music.

Clear sound, nice looks, banana plug terminals
