Perfect for my needs

 

Used for 40% TV (mostly sports), 30% gaming, and 30% music. For music I switch to 2.1, so this review applies to TV / gaming only. My system is Polk towers upfront, Polk 12" sub, Polk center and Polk surround (5.1) - driven by an Onkyo 5.1 receiver....

the size of speakers are not "giant" as ive noticed with most other polk audio products. right size fits on my mounts from my other surround set

all good! exactally as described! purchased 2 pair to complete my surround system. sound is clear and crisp, even better with the sale price that seems to rotate around with speaker products

nice for the price !

mounting, nice tweets, upper mids

need a sub to mak-up some of the lower range mids to lows. it makes it hard to set the sub to were it hits hard and gets out of the way. like around 120hz. these need the sub set much higher 150-200-just my opinion.

Big Tate the grills are removable. Mine came right off. Just pull a corner. Also install speaker wire before installing the speakers' base. If you can spring for it, buy banana clips, they make installation so much easier. Also Buy more wire then you...

I'm using them as my surrounds in a 5.1 setup. Seem to work fine, and are pretty loud when they need to be. These completed my setup and seem pretty good for surround sound speakers. They can be mounted or displayed in many different positions.

Compact? They are nearly as tall as my Monitor 30's, luckily not so deep.

Ok if you have all small channels or the same speaker and let the sub take over from 80hz down

Mountable, Designed for quality and accurate reproduction of uppermids if you have small speakers for the front of your room these are for you.

No lower mids, small mid driver, Got this for the back of my living room and regret it very much. It made my harman receiver work harder and drew power from my main channels.
