Quality

 

Removed builders installed speakers from my new home. Wow. What a difference.

Clear articulate sound. As rear surround speakers, these speakers perfectly compliment ; 2 Polk 40's, a CS 10and PSW 505 on a Pioneer 5.1. Some shows mix there surround sound brilliantly. Have you seen Justified

Not really a con. Slightly inefficient. I have had to boost each by 4db

Replaced Car Speakers

 

If they maintain after I install an amp and still sound perfect I'll bump the review up to 5 eggs.

Pretty Good for the price

 

boxed up a pair for outdoor speakers. For the price, sound way better that an official in/out door speaker. Lows are pretty good for an outdoor speaker (what I'm using them as).

Great for rear/surround

 

Great addition to my setup!

I just installed 2 of these in my living room for back/surround speakers they sound great for music and movies alike I was a little afraid they would get lost with my promonitor 70 fronts and 25c center but they fit in very well not a ton of bass...

I hate patching holes in the wall after snaking wires, not really the speakers fault. I do feel that the wire connectors could be a bit tighter I used 14ga wire and it was popping out of the connector because it was so stiff

Good quality, GREAT looks

 

Maybe its due to the fact that I don't have a subwoofer in the room but bass response is limited at best. But... what the hay - they're six inch speakers!

Clean look, paintable grill, targeted tweeter "aiming" - great mids and highs, built in crossovers

Plastic retaining tabs could be better - they bend a lot making me wonder if they'll hold over the long term

Works fine as a ceiling install. If you want really big bass sound, get an in-wall sub or similar - but try these out first as they're pretty effective just the same. I gave them 5 stars because I got something that sounds better than I expected!

Great speakers

 

Placed one in kitchen and one in bathroom on my zone 2 output. Received many compliments on sound and looks. Bass is not that strong but I didn't expect it to be.
