Russell Hobbs Classic Blender RHBL2

This blender is ok for the simple stuff, like smoothies etc but doesn't perform when the going gets a bit tougher. It's still a sturdy unit and the jug is glass which is nice. Not particularly noisy and I guess it's ok for the price

The blender itself works well, but food gets down between the glass and the black plastic ring-which can't be removed. Probably the only flaw in its design. Tried soaking, which removed some of the foodstuffs, but not all. Not very hygienic.

This unit looks amazing and blends my smoothies perfectly, even when you add nuts and blocks of ice!
