Spontaneously thawed my food. Cost $60 A MONTH electric bill

 

I was very excited to get this freezer. I had recently purchased a quarter of beef from a local pasture fed angus farm. Very pricy meat.

The Kenmore Uprigh Freezer is roomy and nice.

 

We needed something that fit more food for our growing boys.  This was the perfect fit, both for food, and in our kitchen.  I love it alot.  It's easier to get ice out of the shelves, and to see what food we actually have in it.  I love the shelves...

Lost $500 worth of food in one year!!!!!

 

It's unfair that it's "required" to choose one star.  It's more like negative 10 stars.  I purchased this freezer (use that term lightly) for $399 at my local Sears store. It worked great for about a month.  The tech came out and gave us a $150 check...

died after just over two years use, lost everything

 

Dont recommand a unit that fails and the vendor does not offer to make some sort of adjustment. Consider another brand.

Ice Built up repeatedly- 5yrs now Repair I'm told would be $500

 

I am totally disappointed in this freezer. Ice repeatedly built up behind the panel in the back and it would quit working. Then we would have to defrost it... even though it was supposed to be autodefrost. Now we paid a service man $75 to look at it...

Good Quality Product for low $

 

We have had this freezer since last November. Perfectly happy with it. I didnt think it would be give enough but holds more than expected. It is a little louder and we did let it sit for over 24 hours before starting up but I have it on my outside...

Great Freezer for it's size..just perfect for a small family

 

This freezer is  a great value - it does make some odd noises at times but i have been assured that they are normal - the noise does not affect the freezing of the food or the inside temperature so it has not been an issue.
