Why is it that a refrigerator I buy in 2014 is so noisy?

I bought this fridge about a 3 months ago. I am happy with the fridge, the ice maker needs work.

And saved me money on my electric bill each month. The first month was only $15 but a seal was not sealing so air was leaking in and out. I called the repair guy and he fixed it. We'll see what next month brings. I love G.E. I have their stove too.
