Great apart from the leaks and the noise and the difficulty getting it repaired...

 

Too noisy, leaked all over the carpet many times... then died, just blowing out hot air. Trying to get it fixed seems a problem, for something which costs a lot of money, it has to be better and have better service. I feel dudded. Cheated, ripped off.

I bought this unit 6 years ago as i live in a rented house in penrith west of sydney which is often 10 degrees hotter than sydney, last week the unit stopped cooling the fan still works, im def buying another one! You can notice the difference when you...

after one season the plastic exaust fan split and started to bang against the casing after pulling the unit apart(a huge job)I went hunting for a new fan - forget it - when i finally got to the australian distributer they laughed when I asked for the...

Unable to obtain spare parts.

Excellent

 

very good for what it is designed for. cooling the lounge and dinning for example, rather than the whole house. it is not designed to cool a whole house

good if you are renting, no drilling required. great cooling. portable can be moved easily.

Terrible

 

would be stupid to purchase! waist of money and time! dimplex has a lot to answer for with there products in recent years!!! very sad consumer affairs isn't doing its job!

ok to cool when the temperature is under 35 degrees

it leaks, doesn't cool as well on a second floor apartment, doesn't cool the area stated in the manual, the filer has broken and the Directional louvers have broken on there own, all in all a very over priced product that majorly under performs!!!...

Good

 

Good unit.Good looking.Very efficient. With my area to cool (106 m3)it does a good job, especially in those hot Brisbane summers that we have.

Cools well (DAC15HC) No leaks. Quite happy with replacement,because the first one came up with "E5" constantly.(Faulty something,did not understand what exactly) Replacement does everything allright.

Water outlet at the very bottom too low, very hard to let the water out without spilling..........unless,like I have done, you put it up say, 4 inches and connect a hose to it......

Terrible

 

only still have it because of the warranty, on our 3rd one, this one is ok but only had for one week, other 2 leaked from base and spat water out the back hose that goes out the window, they were both ok for 2 months there abouts until problems...

great shape, quiet unit

leaking all over the floor, on our 3rd one!
