Overall, great product would recommend - rooms bigger than 260sq might be a bit much to cool as the shear size of the machine would not be conducive to heating costs.

For th Size of my Room (full bed, 40LCD, computer and 4 drawers/closet with a 4x4 walking space,) it cools extremely well. Almost too well, I find myself setting the temperature at 80 and it's great ; Clean ionizing air technology can make a gym locker...

Reading the reviews maybe I got a bad (made in china) unit? Returning the unit is not a easy/cheap option.

I might have refused delivery, if UPS didn't just leave it on my porch. In the future, no more bulk items from Newegg for me.

It cools reasonably well (at least as well as a 5.2k BTU A/C is expected to)

It arrived with a gnarly dent on the top rail/guide. I had to work at it with a prybar and some scraps of wood just to get it straight enough that the side panels would slide through

Awesome A/C Unit

 

Free shipping makes this an ideal purchase.

Great little unit. I have a 651 Sq Ft Apt, keeps me cool and comfortable. Installed in the bedroom, the sound isn't too bad, I can easily sleep through it on very hot nights

Nice Cold Power Saver

 

Some minor assembly required. Careful of the back fins. When first plugged in, takes a couple minutes with fan on before it starts cooling, so give it time.

Bought on sale, what a deal even with shipping. Makes a LOT of COLD air. Digital thermostat & auto fan functions work great. Super efficient, Energy Star rated; will save me enough money on power to pay for it in one season, thanks to demand power...

Weird rotating disc louvers aren't particularly great at steering the massive air output. I keep getting an odd "dirty socks" smell, hoping it will get better with use. If not I will try flushing it out
