Good for supplemental cooling, or if you're trying to save some money in the long term on central air. If it's your main source of cooling, be sure the room is small enough. My space is just a hair too big and gets a lot of sun, so some days it's still...

It puts out some pretty cold air, and the fan moves a significant amount of CFMs

There is a small metal grate covering the fan that was broken and rattling on the fan when I first turned it on. The plastic holding the grate in place is very thin; I imagine this is a common problem with this product
