Great as a sauna, useless cooler

 

In Montana it is DRY. Others who own this have the same pathetic experience. I modified one to add additional cooling surface - still useless. I am going to use it in the winter to heat the room because it works best as a sauna. I can't understand how...

none worth mentioning

Doesn't cool, just adds humidity. it looks like it could work but doesn't cool. Beep is loud. if you add ice, the air smells like freezer burn - even then it doesn't cool. I bought 2 of these - can't return them - boo hoo.

I live in seattle wa on the top floor in a apt building downtown.this sucker works fantastic cooled my apt down almost immediatly.my dogs love laying by it

You can use the unit in a room without bulky vent hose like an air conditioner would.

I depend on my refrigerator to produce the ice for the unit, so once the ice is gone --it's gone.

I really like it and so does my family. We like the fact that we only need to keep one room cool rather than the whole house.

You can use the unit in a room without bulky vent hose like an air conditioner would. No heat coming from back either. I like the portability on wheels. I can move from room to room as needed. This is the type of cooling system I've been looking for.

I depend on my refrigerator to produce the ice for the unit, so once the ice is gone --it's gone.
