I had been researching food processors for about 2 months and finally settled on the Cuisinart DLC-2011. It had received a good write-up in a popular consumer magazine and the solid construction overall plus the 10 year guarantee on the motor convinced...

Solid construction. Easy to operate. Selection of blades. Wide input shute.

Best appliance I have bought

 

I have had Cuisinart DLC-2011 11 Cup processor for about 18mths now and use it at least once a day, often 3-5 times a day. I grind a lot of nuts to make 'flour' for various recipes and it works so well, I get a fine dust in no time. It makes food prep...

Perhaps being abe to use it as a 'blender too would be useful as it workd brilliantly as a blender *but* you need to keep the liquid below the liquid fill line

Won't even do what is shown on the DVD that comes with the machine. Cuts out without good load.

 

Quite impressed till we started to make some liquid mixture before putting flour with the mix. it cut out while only liquid was in the container! Next time it stopped was when trying to make a dough. it only got part way through and had to finish it...

Great for cutting vegies, fruit etc

Stops at the most frustrating times. even when there is little load on machine.

It's a must have kitchen stuff for individuals who loves cooking. it can process a large amount of food for mixing or simply chopping. you can even make dough with this food processesor. a long lasting product indeed!
