We recommend it as an inexpensive and practical companion to PCs being used as entertainment centers.

Gives you fingertip, remote control over the most basic functions of your computer's media player.

As a remote, it offers only the most basic of functions. It's still mostly a mouse.

Logitech's mouse represents a new--and winning--use for the ever-present mouse. We recommend it.

It does what it's supposed to, and it does it well.

Receiver distance is amped up higher than any other mouse. 3m? I get double that through walls ; Media keys on a mouse is soooo good

Logitech's SetPoint software is terrible. Going through thier forums indicates this is common for all their products that use SetPoint ; Up/Down/Left/Right for media only works in MediaLife, which is a pretty basic media player. Not too big a deal...
