High brightness even with ambient lights on ; Retains sharpness and focus on max image size ; Great for fast-paced action games

Not the deepest blacks ; Slight rainbow effect

Might lean towards gaming more than home-theatre, but the BenQ TH585 offers plenty of reasons to be considered as a living-room favourite.

Great quality picture at night. Useable through the day but not as vivid image. Easy to set up! Fan noise a little bit loud but just an excuse to turn the surround sound up a bit louder.

Bought this 2 weeks ago. Loving the experience of home cinema. Very bright projector. 4 star because no horizontal keystone adjust and little noisy for the price but I should have noticed in all fairness.

I purchased this as a replacemnt for a much older Infocus HD projector which developed a fault. I already own an older Benq 1070 which is OK and was good value. The Benq TH585 is also good value but the image, although bright with good colours is not...
