Don't know about putting my face two feet away from lamp to gain most benifit as this blinds me,maybe it's my old eyes,I have it in living room and really brightens room,lamp gets a bit hot Keep kids away.

feeling less tired as I work in a windowless office and rarely see daylight at all in the winter months.
