Western Digital always manufactures excellent drives. I always owned a WD drive. For the money this drive was a good price and it performs well.

Western Digital has always made good drives. I pulled my old trashed drive out of the OWC enclosure and put in the Western Digital drive. It worked flawlessly.

I like to build my own computers so I have always used and liked Western Digital hard drives. Their hard drives have been dependable for me. The Caviar carries their best warranty with 3 years. I have found their customer service is great also!!

Always been happy with Western Digital drives, been using them since the early 90's, with Windows 3.1 and beyond. Never had a problem with them, and I don't expect any problem with this one. WD makes good solid drives, never had one fail on me...ever....

This drive was 43 cents a gigabyte. Incredible! Came well packaged and very promptly. Worked right out of the box.
