SO far I have not yet seen any CON's about it. For some it may be clunky space taker but it serves it's purpose so it's not really a con. Because that space it takes up is a space it pays for it's self. In otherwords. It deserves to take up that space...

Super bulky - it takes a lot of counter space Rice Warm button only keeps the rice warm for 12 hours at a time, need a button to keep the rice warm ALL OF THE TIME! Both of these are just minor gripes....no stars taken away.

Cooks white and brown rice perfectly. There is a brown function built in, but its not actually for brown rice. Its a stone pot function so the rice in the bottom of the cooker cooks a little crunchy. I LOVE IT! Have also steamed vegetables, potatoes,...

My only beef with the product was probably intended to be a "feature." It only seems to keep your rice warm for 12 hours. then it will simply stop warming the rice. Ah well. I just make smaller fresh batches now.

There is no preset time for brown rice, like you can set the cooker to start/end after certain time for brown rice.
