awesome CPU! aftermarket cooler needed

 

If you do get your aftermarket cooler APPLY YOUR OWN THERMAL PASTE. Always remove pre applied with rubbing alcohol.

So the main thing about the 8150 is its ability to OC very well. Put mine to 4.5Ghz easy can go to 5 but must disable 2 cores for stability. Mine did very well at gaming along with video rendering

The only thing that isn't so good is the fan and heat sink that comes with the CPU. Get you own aftermarket cooler and you will be fine. Also another thing was the CPU cooler I used was the H80i which the thermal paste was bad pre applied and melted...
