The Velocity Micro Edge E2250 packs in enough gaming performance to let you play the most demanding DX10 games, at least at standard resolution.

The Velocity Micro Edge E2250 is a very fast midrange PC, and it's one of the best PCs in its class for digital media editors. Gamers will find a strong foundation with some upgrade potential, but they can get better performance for the dollar elsewhere.

What a Machine, What a Deal.

 

I got this for the GPU speed and other features but plan to put an Extreme in this when the prices drop down. I will be adding the second graphics card soon. I do hope they use a thin felt pad strip around the side panels as they do rattle some. Still...

After 30 days of use, I'm still impressed. The cool glow of blue through the side panel glass is a daily reminder of the great workmanship Velocity put into this unit. No matter how I tried building one, all the parts for this alone exceeded 1500 bucks...

The card reader was not set flush and would not read xD cards. I replaced this reader with a larger 5.25 unit that matches. The DVD drive makes too much noise for my taste as does the hard drive but for this price, I'm fine with it

Nice for the Price

 

relly nice a must buy for thoughs whom have little csh to spare on a faster system

All components are good and the setup is nice its fast and will play anything youv got

only con i have is whin it showed up the cpu cooling block was dislodged but was a fast fix thats the only reson it got 4 eggs

Killer Rig

 

Suggestion: have a second drive. This drive works well when it has an OS backing it up it just has issues booting (which when building a PC can be problematic). Maybe I got a bad drive but if a DVD drive stops reading a disk halfway through a load on a...

This computer is a beast. Quiet, fast, max Vista scores in all categories (5.9), looks cool. Runs Fallout 3 and World of Warcraft at 60-120 fps on max settings

Sticker was only slightly annoying. Peel it off slowly ; I wish I can turn the light off sometimes, I feel like I am in a rave or something

Awsome Comp!

 

Only other thing is that when it cam the hard drive was dangling and the frame was bent but that was probably from shipping. Shipped with fedex cuz I heard bad things about UPS but still got a little damaged. Also the second optical drive's power...

The Specs. This computer is a beast! All the parts in the computer are high quality and it is put together really well. My old rig was about 4 years old so it was time for a new one. Only game I have tried on it is wow and well WOW! Basically 60 fps...

I don't think its that annoying but the stickers on the side are hard to take off and could see that it would be a hassel so i left them on. Other then that can't really think of any

Hardware/software not working

 

No support on weekends- knowlege center at manufacture site decent but using multiple sticks of memory or other graphic cards to test and diagnose not possible for me. Can't RMA except by phone it seems.

Pretty blue lights and quiet fans

Hardware issue and shut itself down when tryed to boot ; Did not POST after checked connections. Cleared CMOS by Velocity Micro site instruction and minimized hardware. Still did not POST
