Dell Venue 7 3000 Series review

Dell's Venue 7 is an attractive tablet with good battery life, a loud speaker, and a clean, up-to-date version of Android. But performance issues and its 1GB of RAM make it hard to recommend—especially for those who want to play games.

For a budget-priced tablet, the Dell Venue 7 looks, feels, and sounds quite good—and the rear-facing camera can produce attractive photos as well, something many budget slates can’t do. We also appreciate the MicroSD card slot and the fact that the...

Dell Venue 7

Dell's Venue 7 is an inexpensive Android tablet that is upstaged by more capable options from Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Great bargain. Loud speaker. Simple, minimal design.

Poor cameras. Higher-resolution options are available in the $150 price range.

The Venue 7 plays every media format in our test suite except FLAC audio. Its outward-pointing speaker is a nice change from rear-facing speakers, and the speakers get pretty loud but stay a little tinny when turned up to the maximum volume. Like the...

Dell Venue 7 LTE Tablet Review

Light-shunning LTE slate. Dell launches a balanced, 7-inch tablet that is based on a current Atom processor from the Merrifield generation and Google's Android 4.4 KitKat, dubbed Venue 7 LTE, on the market. Its brightness and speakers are the biggest...

High graphics power, Expandable storage, High-speed LTE, ac-WiFi, 20 GB Dropbox storage (one year), Long battery runtimes and a decent performance. Besides that, cutting-edge communication modules are installed

Pressure sensitive display bezel, Few sensors, No App2SD support, Weak speakers, A slightly higher brightness and more homogeneous illumination would have certainly contributed to the otherwise great screen

Dell Venue 7 review

There's an abundance of competitively priced small and midsize tablets, but the Dell Venue 7 and 8 stand out thanks to their stable performance, pure version of Android 4.4 KitKat, and affordable pricing. The 7- and 8-inch pair start at $160 and $200,...

The Dell Venue 7 and 8 are refreshingly bloatware-free and start at affordable sub-$200 prices. Performance during casual use is stable and there's a microSD card expansion slot.

Performance slows down when downloading app updates or large files. The thick bezels slightly outdate the tablet's design.

The Dell Venue 7 is one of the best small tablet bargains. The larger Venue 8 is just as capable, however there are other 8-inch slates that offer more features for the same price.

Dell Venue 7 tablet packs pure Android, starts at $149

The 7-inch budget tablet features a no-frills design that complements the simplicity of pure Android 4.2.2.

The ; starts at $149 and features a pure Android 4.2.2 operating system. It's lightweight, houses a microSD card expansion, and performs smoothly.

Larger games take a while to load, the touch screen is sometimes unresponsive, and battery life only lasts about a day.

The Dell Venue 7 offers a simple design and smooth performance for the right price, but the Nexus 7 is a significant upgrade for not much more.

Review: Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8, Android tablets with Intel inside

There are lots of Android tablets to choose from, ranging from the inexpensive to big bucks. These two tablets from Dell are light on the wallet and have a unique feature.

Reasonably priced ; Solid construction ; Good displays

Dell's Chromebook 11 offers sturdy but stylish design, reasonable performance and good battery life. Screen quality is the only significant drawback, unless you must have an Ethernet port. If you're comfortable living entirely online in the browser,...

Dell Venue 7 (2014) Review: A Tablet That Will Satisfy Most Users

Although there are competently a large number of affordable Android tablets available in the market, premium PC maker Dell has yet again added a new one in

Affordable ; Lightweight ; MicroSD card expansion

Thick Bezel ; Brightness level of the Display is less ; Indian LTE bands not supported ; Poor front facing camera

Dell Venue 7 2014 Tablet Review

Dell Venue 7 2014 is the latest 3G based voice calling tablet launched. It comes with Android KitKat.

• Smooth Performance ; • Sturdy Built ; • Good Sharp Screen ; • Improved Battery Life ; • Affordable

• Occasional lags ; • No Front Earpiece ; • Doesn’t come with Earphones

Dell Venue 7 2014 isn’t the only tablet that ships with voice calling feature and supports 3G. There are other tablets like Asus Fonepad 7 Dual SIM and few of the Samsung galaxy tabs at this price range; but then Venue 7 manages to win the hearts with...
