As others have said, this thing has an effective range of 4-5 ft. Take that seriously. I bought this for an old PC that I resurrected for a HTPC. IT gets the job done at 4 ft. But you can't sit back on your couch and surf the web with it. The reason it...

Works for Emergency Services

 

If they will work for us, they should work for anyone. Granted they are only about 3 feet from the receiver, but if the batteries are kept topped-off we haven't had any problems. I have 3 of these that are in the same station in very close proximity...

When we switched to a new type of fire engine, we had to move our Panasonic Toughbooks to a remote location and go with a separate touchscreen monitor and keyboard ; I liked this keyboard because of the joystick feature; attempting to use a track pad...

The batteries have to be replaced monthly in my estimation to keep good connection. Once the batts get low, the Keyboard starts getting flaky ; The auto-off feature has been a bit of a learning curve for our people. but once they were up to speed on...

I like it

 

It's the only thing like I've found. It could be so much better but it works for me. I would recommended it but wish there were another contender. Some competition would really help this product.

Cheap, works (mostly), small laptop keyboard/joystick mouse

Short range (enough for me), The joystick is sticky but works. buttons across the top (back, forward...etc) don't work right

Don't listen top all the bad reviews

 

I was initially turned off because of the low reviews, but the keyboard with mouse combos that had good reviews were much more expensive than this. So I gave this a shot in spite of the negative reviews. Now that I've got it I think the bad reviewers...

It Works regardless of what other people say! I use this keyboard perfectly from my couch ~12-15 ft away from the reciever and it works awsomely. If you are experiencing interference the manual has a procedure for changing the keyboards id that...

No caps/num locks lights or power light. Not good for gaming

Nice and compact. Neat joystick mouse. Nicely priced

Worked well with good range until I added a wireless USB g network adapter. Now spotted service from 4 ft. I believe the USB network adapter is interfering with this

Light indicators for capslock, numlock would of been great but manufacture's website has driver download that will install gui application that will indicate whats on/off on taskbar.

The keyboard is a decent size, small but functional. The joystick and mouse buttons are easy to get used and not difficult to use

RF receiver is a little bigger than expected, longer cable would of been nice. I also wanted to get more distance out of it. I am able to get at least five feet out of it

Be honest about what you are buying here. Its a small, wireless, AA powered keyboard so you can occasionally type something in on an HTPC. It does its job quite well for the price. I've used it on a 2nd computer in a pinch (or out of lazyness) before...

Cheap, effectively replaces both a keyboard and a mouse without restoring to an awful and expensive touchpad. Range is decent, seems reasonably solid built. Like the feel of "joystick" with its little rubber head

No light to indicate num lock state, could have done with a band of rubber or some other texture on the back to create friction and help keep it on your lap. Bigger feet might have worked too. bigger feet that didnt come off so easily (I lost mine...
