The machine is very quiet and looks good

There is an annoying squeak after it's been going for a few minutes which we can't rectify, perhaps it's part of the heat pump ?

Very rapid for a heat pump dryer. Self cleaning and water tray is at top not the bottom. Stays cool. Sensor drying much more accurate than last dryer. Switches itself off when finished instead of going forever (configurable).

Needing to wash out the fluff tray instead of just quickly scraping off the fluff (according to the manual this is necessary / recommended). Time remaining panel of limited use as it changes so dramatically based on the sensors.

Very simple to use with clear controls and a host of drying options for different types of materials etc. About as energy efficient as a tumble dryer can be. A bit pricey compared to other makes but against that you get the Bosch sturdy build and...

Haven't found any drawbacks yet and this machine has been used at least twice a week for a couple of months.

This is a solidly built machine with good features and reasonable drying results

Awful "buzzing" noise which Bosch seem to think is "normal". It really isn't and I would avoid this machine if you can for that very reason. I think it's the heat pump.
