Expensive Disappointment

 

I have given up on this telephone. After being lured by the promise of a top-quality phone, I have never seen a clearer case of a product simply being defective by-design. My Panasonic is in the trash and an old 900 Mhz is back out of the closet....

$200 Dollar Mistake

 

What more could you ask for?: Cool rugged techie looks, almost every feature available at the time (early 2000), and range so good (though not nearly as good as claimed) that folks think you're on a cell phone several houses down from the base unit....

Rugged techie looks, lots of features, respectable range.

900MHz interferes w/other devices, difficult to program, common features buried in menu, DOA at 14mo.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!

 

Needs to recharge more often than your cell phone! Target had so much trouble with it that they quit carrying it and will not allow returns - the mfg does not offer local repair.

Panasonic name but I've compromised a lot

 

I have an old 900mhz Panasonic cordless phone that works great but it doesn't have call ID. So I went out and bought the Siemens 2.4gig (the older one) and boy was that a terrible phone; short batter life, bad design, odd features, poor range, poor...

Long battery life, great range, Panasonic quality

Missing a few features, your voice is too quiet, base lacks call ID

Nice phone for a couple months

 

This phone was excellent for the first few months. Great clarity, 2.4GHz security, what more could you ask for? How about a phone that lasts longer than 6 months?! I've had two of these phones replaced under warranty. Now I'm giving up and buying...

This phone is really, really lousy

 

Three phones: Purchased phone from Wal-Mart(1), exchanged that phone for another(2), sent that phone to Panasonic who relaced it quickly with the third.

There are none. The entire product line appears flawed
